Elle NP Family Health and Wellness Center offers Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT). This form of treatment works chemically to reduce opioid withdrawal symptoms. It blocks the effects, thus increasing patient chances for recovery. One such option is Suboxone, otherwise known as Buprenorphine / Naloxone. Suboxone carries reduced risk of dependance as compared to other forms of treatment such as methadone for example.[i] This treatment is available in both tablet and shot form.
